Social Entrepreneur Corps

Social Entrepreneur Corps Internship Program

Beginning in 2013, International Business Students Global and the University of New Mexico created an agreement with Social Entrepreneur Corps to give our students the opportunity to work in grassroots business development throughout Latin America.

Our partnership with Social Entrepreneur Corps allows our students to work for 4 to 8 weeks in either Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Ecuador or the Dominican Republic. 

Starting in the spring of 2014, participants will be able to get credit for their academic and professional experiences through classes at UNM and participation in the SEC summer internship.

In 2015, Sara Beltran Caro will be interning for the Social Entrepreneur Corps in the Dominican Republic. You can follow her travel by clicking on the following blogs:

In 2014 IBSG sent two students, Patrick Hibbard and Victoria Pryor, to participate as Social entrepreneurs in Guatemala and Ecuador, respectively.

In 2013 IBSG sent our first volunteer, Audriana Stark, to work in Guatemala for 4 weeks.
